You Can’t Outrun Yourself is an experimental film where the character battles with herself, struggling to understand and embrace her true identity.
The film uses elements of mixed media montage to portray the character’s inner thoughts. Inspired by the surrealist movement, the film pays homage to Claude Cahun, Marcel Moore & Maya Deren.
This piece of work highlights themes of identity & surrealism, blending dream-like and reality sequences together to connote inside the character’s mind.
